anyremote software package provides Remote control daemon for applications using Bluetooth, IrDA or WiFi, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install anyremote
anyremote is installed in your system.
Make ensure the anyremote package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep anyremote *
You will get with anyremote package name, version, architecture and description in a table
